Rochdale Dog Rescue

A volunteer-run local charity that takes stray and abandoned dogs from the council’s contracted holding kennels before the seven-day deadline, then assesses, vaccinates and neuters them and rehomes them through foster carers.

Cats Protection Rochdale

A volunteer-run branch covering the OL11, OL12, OL15, OL16 and M24 postcodes. It rehomes local cats and kittens, helps with lost and found, and funds neutering for households on benefits or facing financial hardship.
