Can’t make it to church? Christ Church Healey invites community to join Sunday service online

People across Healey and the wider Rochdale community who are unable to attend church in person are being warmly invited to join Christ Church's Sunday morning service online each week.

The church's weekly livestream is also open to people who may be new to church, curious about Christianity or who would simply feel more comfortable experiencing a service from home before deciding whether to attend in person.

Christ Church goes live at 9.55am every Sunday morning, allowing viewers to watch the service as it happens. Anyone who cannot watch at that time can catch up afterwards, with the service remaining available to view later.

The church said: “You are most welcome to join us for our weekly Sunday morning livestream from Christ Church. You can watch the service live as it happens, or at any time afterwards. We go live at 9.55am.”

For people who are housebound, unwell, caring for somebody, working on Sunday mornings or otherwise unable to be physically present, the livestream provides a way to remain connected with worship and the local church community.

It can also offer a gentle introduction for anyone who has never attended church before. There is no requirement to already be a member of the congregation — viewers can simply tune in from home and see what a Sunday morning at Christ Church is like.

The livestream runs each Sunday, with the broadcast beginning at 9.55am. Christ Church Healey welcomes both its existing congregation and newcomers joining online.
