WellMental UK hosted its first men's mental health fitness session in Heywood on Friday evening, bringing local men together for exercise, food and conversation.
The session took place at Unit4 Fitness and began with a group workout before moving into a relaxed social evening. Attendees shared a curry, spent time together and were encouraged to talk openly in an informal setting.
Organisers said it was encouraging to see those attending getting involved, supporting one another and making the most of the opportunity to spend time together.
The event was designed to combine physical activity with peer support and conversation, creating a space where men could connect without the pressure of a formal clinical environment.
WellMental UK thanked everyone who attended and helped make the first Heywood session a success.
The evening marked the beginning of the group's activity in Heywood, with the first session focused on building community, encouraging openness and using fitness as a way to bring people together.
